Batemans Bay is the site of some of the most pristine coastline you’ll find anywhere in the world, and is an area well known for its amazing fishing opportunities.
From a dining standpoint, you’ll be treated to Clyde River oysters, and fresh seafood that is pulled from clear, clean waters! Between these fine meals, you can spend your days exploring the walking trails, visiting the parks and mountains, or engage in a little reef fishing. There’s surfing, swimming, boating, diving, and many other water sports to keep you busy and active throughout your stay.
Finally, don’t let your trip go by without taking the opportunity to spot the wildlife in the area. Wallabies, possums, kangaroos, and colorful parrots all call this region home. If you’re persistent -and just a little bit lucky too – you might even see a platypus before you leave!
