The Hayman Reese Compact IQ Proportional Brake Controller - Remote Mount is a brake controller unit suitable for heavy duty towing and light load towing across all terrains. It’s the ‘proportional’ version of the ‘time-activated’ Compact Brake Controller.

This compact model is another neat, sophisticated brake controller that features only 2 dials mounted on the dash of your towing vehicle, while the main control unit can be installed under or behind your dash out of sight.

The Compact IQ encompasses minimalism, thanks to its super easy plug and play installation. Suitable for use with 1-3 axles, it includes a ‘boost’ function giving the driver the ability to set a minimum braking power, and also provides an override function.

While an LED indicator (one of the dials on the dashboard) constantly shows the status of the braking system:

Ø  Green indicates the system is working and ready to go

Ø  Red indicates the brakes have been engaged

Ø  Flashing Red means there is a connection problem and you will need to check your installation
