I bought a air conditioner from another company, which advertised free shipping, only to be informed I had to pay $340 extra for freight. Found caravan and camping sites bought this system. No hassle transaction. Arrived in north Queensland 7 days latter, professional packaged, no damage. The new air conditioner fitted straight into where the old one was. From now on Caravan and camping is the only business I'll be buying from. MICK STEWART.

I decided to rip out the old split system in our campervan as it was noisy and not very effective. The fresh jet was easy to install in the old roof hatch opening and is SO quiet. The generator hardy increases in revs thanks to the new inverter compressor . Delivery was quick and free. Made the decision a no brainer. Thanks for your help

We put off replacing our old clunking Ibis 3 for 8 years because it did an ok job. We didn’t realise how bad a job it was doing until we got the new Freshjet. Installed in a couple of hours and I can’t believe how beautifully quiet and cool it is inside now. It’s so stylish inside and outside and makes our van look newer. The remote is great mounted right beside our chairs. When it’s 45c outside it’s wonderful to be comfortable inside again. Should have done it 8 years ago.

I recently had to replace the air conditioner on our caravan and after reading reviews decided to go with a Dometic Ibis Mk4. A search revealed that Caravan RV Camping store had the best price as well as excellent reviews so I ordered one and had it delivered to our local service agent for installation. The unit was delivered very promptly and arrangements were made for the installation. When I dropped the van off at the service agent the technician stated that Caravan RV Camping were cheaper than he could buy the unit for direct from Dometic. The air conditioner works extremely well and is much quieter than our previous unit, we are very happy.

It took us 5 years to upgrade to the Dometic Ibis 4 from our old aircon (no names)purchased from new with our van. We travel in the tropics and central Aust. a lot and are now in paradise every time we pull up. It takes less than 5mins to notice a change in temperature and humidity. Ideal for lunchtime stops. I installed the unit myself the night it arrived. Very easy to install with minimal know how. Instructions are great. You’ll need assistance to get it up onto the van. Runs comfortably on both my 2.2ei Honda generator also off the 3000w inverter in the van. All information, tracking and delivery was on point from Caravanrvcamping and have since purchased a 12vlt upright fridge from them.

Ordered the Ibis 4 air conditioner and cannot be happier. Sales service was excellent, from the online information given, right through to Lee, who answered my questions over the phone. The aircon arrived within 7 days, which is fantastic, as I live in WA and it had to be shipped across the country. Item was well packaged, no damage at all. One very happy customer. Following this experience, we also bought an electric hot plate a couple of weeks later. It arrived even faster. Will definitely buy from this company again. Very happy!

We have just had it installed as all installers are extremely busy. The install took one hour and everything went together smoothly. Everything tested as it should. We were told not to run it for 24 hours to let the seals settle. As we leave on holiday on the 17th Dec we will have the chance to really test it. The last aircon packed it in while we were in Townsville in 34degree heat. Thank you for your prompt service.

We decided our near new 2012 Winnebago Ceduna :) purchased with 26000 Klm on it did not have a sufficient air conditioner on it (we thought air conditioners had come a long way since 2012). So after some investigation it appeared the Ibis 4 could be a good choice, so a call to Caravan RV gave me all the confirmation I needed , the gentleman on the phone was very pleasant and very knowledgeable so we placed the order that day and Lo an behold it arrived about 8 days later. It took 2 hours by a professional to remove the old one a fit the Ibis 4 we believe it is money well spent and after some testing it looks to be very good. We just had our first long weekend away with our van with this a/c. It's a knock out. Not only is it super quiet (you can barely hear it!), we used both the cooling and heating function in one day. Our 3 1/2 year old needed a sleep, and mid afternoon in SE QLD vans still get very hot. We put the IBIS on and almost froze the boy. He was completely tucked under his doona in a ball. In the evening it got cool being by the beach and we put the IBIS (again mostly to test it) on heat with turbo while we had showers. We came back to a virtual furnace. It can literally get that hot and cold! I would totally buy this product again.

There was a bit of a mix up with the aircon, it said in stock on website when I bought it but was contacted a few days later saying that they were out of stock, long story short I was keeped in the loop and it turned up earlier than expected, the installation was easy and I did it myself, I used a H frame as I put it on my 1985 poptop van, pump's out realy cold air and even keeps up on a 42 degree day, my 2200kw Honda jenny loves it, if I had to dis on something it would be the control of the out side condensation, I wished there was just one drain hole so you could put a hose on it and keep it off the roof,

Very happy with this latest iteration of the IBIS, it is very quiet and easily handled the high temperatures we experienced during our recent trip through rural NSW, Goulburn, Bathurst, Mudgee, Gunnedah, Barraba, Yetman, Inglewood, Leyburn and Coominya. Most days were 39c from Mudgee north. So compared to our old IBIS it was money well spent. Installation was a beeze, old one off and new installed and christened in less than half a day with use of a borrowed wind up material lift, a ladder and two mates for muscle. Two very happy campers here!! And I did run it with my Yammy 2kva gen no dramas didn't affect the gen rpm to any great extent compared to brides hair dryer.

We live in the Northern Territory and wanted a airconditioner for our House Boat in the build up. The Dometic Ibis 4 fitted the bill and was easily installed by myself. It works an absolute treat and easily runs off our 2kva generator. I could not believe how quickly it cools the boat down our cabin is approximately 9mtrs by 2.5mtrs wide and 2.5mtrs high. Highly recommend the Dometic Ibis 4.

Delivery was fast and efficient. The Air con was well packaged but just a note be very careful to store the Air con the right way up although marked on the box it is very small and not obvious . The Air con appears to be very efficient both heating and cooling. It is quiet in operation and looks a really good unit fitted beautifully on our Winnebago motor home. Would certainly deal with CaravanRVCamping again.

Love how compact this air con is. Inside & out. We had a Coleman Marc & it was noisy. This one is very quite & looks great. Bought from CaravanRVCamping as I have purchased from them before. Had a little trouble getting Air Con as they couldn’t tell me if it had left warehouse or not. No tracking number as Dometic’s computers were off line. But after several phone calls & emails Paul was great in offering me my money back if I wasn’t prepared to wait. But After 2 & 1/2 weeks it finally arrived. I never had any problems in the past with this company. Would recommend them for any product they sell.

Fitted to replace eletrolux air conditioner, lighter and a lot quitter even when run with turbo fan, compaired to when the old one was on lowest setting. Test run with my 2 kva Honda generator which handles it with easy on heating and on cooling will have to wait until the weather gets hot to see how the generator goes when it comes to cooling a hot caravan. Heavy to fit on your own if you want to fit it your self but can do if you have help, suplied instructions are clear and easy to follow

We recently purchased the Ibis 4 airconditioner from CaravanRVcamping and are extremely satisfied with the product and service. It was easy to install and last week we gave it a test run. Our old A/c was Dometic too but we couldn't stand the noise 89 db. This new Ibis 4 is great, cools down our van very quickly and only 58 db. SO Quiet.
