Introducing RV WIFI DishyDock. RV WIFI DishyDock, takes the Starlink System and blends it seamlessly into your RV.

Included in any pack:

  • DishyDock Power: The heart of the DishyDock system, DishyDock Power uses 12V power to drive Dishy, Delivering efficient connectivity, even in the most remote off grid location. A regular invertor requires a two step conversion from 12V - 240V - 48V, resulting in a greater power loss. With DishyDock Power, no invertor is required, but it directly links to your RV’s 12V battery system. DishyDock Power unlike other power covertors, converts the Starlink System in one transfer resulting in less power loss over the single conversion.
  • DishyDock Ethernet cables: Shielded AWG23, fire resistant ethernet cables provide power directly from DishyDock Power to Dishy. We offer a 3, 5, 10 or 15m cable in our kit for in wall installation, so you can place your Dishy Power and Router anywhere in your RV. Neatly tucked away and quietly delivering excellent connectivity. The Packs comes with one 0.3m Ethernet Cable to connect from DishyDock inside your RV to DishyDock power. A second 0.3m Ethernet Cable, then connects DishyDock Router. One system perfectly linked with everything you need.

Connection Port type:

  • DishyDock Ports IP65 Weatherproof: Just like the DishyDock Ports, the IP65 Port provides a seemless connection from your external Dishy to the intergration System inside your RV. This port is rated IP65, so is ideal for installing on the outside of your RV, leaving you with the confidence that is both dust tight and watertight against water spray from all directions. The Weatherproof Port can be used with or without the in wall Ethernet Cables, and again provides a socket plate for internal aethetics.
  • DishyDock Internal Ports: DishyDock Ports enable a seamless connection from Dishy to DishyDock Power, and onto the DishyDock Router. Designed specifically for the Starlink System, our DishyDocks are RJ45 Cat6 shielded ports. If you have a waterproof cavity including a TV box, Tunnel Boot or Storage Cavity in your RV, then our Internal DishyDock Port is perfect for the external connection. But for those requiring an external mount, then the IP67 waterproof external DishyDock is the right choice. The ports provide the perfect solution for the Dishy Cable, removing the need for cables through Windows or doors, and a tidy socket plate for internal aesthetics.

Optional Routers:

  • RV WIFI 4G Router or RV WIFI 5G RouterUsing the RV WIFI 4G/5G router, you can pause your Starlink service and use the local network when in cell tower reception locations. This saves you money and the router has exceptional speeds using both the 4G and/or 5G networks. What great options to seamlessly move between the Starlink and the cell tower networks. The RV WIFI router integrated with the Starlink Dishy, saves set up time and effort, and provides better speeds in 4G/5G areas.
  • DishyDock Router: No longer do you need to pack up and store your Starlink Router whilst travelling, the DishhyDock Router is mounted securely to your RV in a cupboard or location of your choice. Nice, neat and tidy. Modelled off our RV WIFI 5G router, the DishyDock Router offers a great solution. Teamed with Starlinks available signal, the superior WIFI range of the DishyDock Router, and the 12 volt DishyDock Power system, this is a great connectivity combination. One system for your smart devices to connect to. No changing passwords, or connections, RV WIFI DishyDock is set ready to go.

Please note:

  • To use the 12V component of the Dishy Dock you require either the DishyDock Router, the RV Wifi 5G or RV Wifi 4G Router
  • RV Wifi Dishydock for Starlink is compatible with the new Gen 3 Starlink Dishy (57v)

Q & A

  • Can this be used with both the 4G and 5G router?

It can work with both 4G and 5G routers, however it will be slower on the 4G router.

  • I already have a RV Wifi 5G, do I need to purchase the Dishy Dock Router?

Great news! As you already own the RV Wifi 5G you don't need to buy the Dishy Dock router. Just select if you would like waterproof or internal ports and your cable length, then you are ready to go!

  • I don't own a RV Wifi, can I still use this system to run my Starlink?

You most certainly can! When checking out you can choose between the Dishy Dock Router or the RV Wifi 5G.

If you choose the Dishy Dock Router then you will always use your Starlink subscription. If you choose the RV Wifi 5G you have the flexibility to switch off your Starlink subscription in urban areas and use the RV Wifi sim data. Then when you are in remote areas, turn your Starlink subscription on and away you go! Always connected and always running on 12v with no need for an inverter.

  • How many 12v sockets do I need to run the Dishy Dock with my Starlink?

You will need two 12v sockets to run this system. 1 to run the Rv Wifi 5G or the Dishy Router and one to run the Rv Wifi Dishydock Power box.

  • I have a TV box on the outside of my van that I plug my TV into under our annexe. Can I use the internal port for the Dishy here or do I need a waterproof port?

The internal port is perfect for this exact application. It stays dry and there is now no need to have your Starlink cable running through an open window or door.

  • Can I purchase just the DishyDock Power box for my Starlink?

You need to have either the RV Wifi 5G or the RV Wifi Dishydock Router to use the Starlink on 12v. The Dishydock Power Box is not compatible with Starlink or any other branded router.

  • How do I turn the RVWifi 5G off when using Starlink?

The good news is....you don't need to! The RV Wifi 5G will detect the Starlink Dishy as soon as it is connected and switch the Starlink over the mobile sim in the RV Wifi.

  • Is the Starlink V2 Adapter waterproof?

Yes, the Starlink V2 Adapter is waterproof

  • I have the new Gen 3 Starlink, can I use the RV Wifi Dishydock and how do I connect it?

The Rv Wifi Dishydock is compatible with the Gen 3 Starlink. You bypass the RJ45 Adaptor and connect directly to the cable port or Power Pack

  • Does the SIM in the RV Wifi disrupt the Starlink service?

When the Dishy Antenna is connected (Starlink) then it will be the first source of internet. When the Dishy Antenna is not connected, then the cell tower network will take over, if in a cell tower network area.

Great bit of kit to convert Starlink to 12 volt

Dishydock Purchase

22 November 2024

Great product and very professional service from your company

Best of both Worlds.

21 November 2024

For some time I have been reading about RV WiFi's 5G router and Dishy Dock 12 volt combination and wondering if it was as easy to set up and as effective as they claim. Having taken the plunge I'm happy to say their claims are totally justified. I already had a Gen 3 Starlink so the whole thing only took a short while to set up and worked perfectly from the get go. I now have fast internet from the 5G network in coverage areas or Starlink when in remote areas. There is plenty of bandwidth for streaming Netflix etc. As yet I haven't had time to set up the included external 5G antenna, which should expand the 4G/5G coverage even further. The staff member at Caravan RV Camping was knowledgeable and able to answer a couple of queries I had before placing my order. Delivery was prompt so overall the buying experience was very good and I recommend highly.

Dishy dock

10 November 2024

Bought this dishy dock for our van to be able to face time the kids and grand kids from anywhere hopefully. Had a great service from caravan rv camping arrived as promised and had no worries tracking it. I fitted it up myself with no problems using the internal system inside the tunnel boot everything was labelled and the hardest part was running the power to an independent power outlet and unpacking the dishy dock. If I had one complaint it would only be that one of the cigarette lighter plugs comes with a on off button on it and the other doesn't but that's all. The bonus with this is you can still use the 240 volt star link router at home or wherever.
