Solbian SunPower 52W Flexible Square Solar Panel

 

Solbian SP series panels are made in Italy and use SunPower patented back-contact monocrystalline silicon cells which eliminates conductors on the top surface which reduces the efficiency of other cells in comparison. The cell efficiency of 24% enable the SP range to provide the highest output power from the smallest surface area of any panel available today and hence are recommended for installations on yachts where maximum power is required from limited surface area. The SunPower cells also achieve the lowest loss in partial shading and high temperature situations compared with other cells.

Mounting Options:

  1. The Bi-Adhesive Backing includes a continuous sheet of 1mm bi-adhesive material over the whole back of the panel for mounting on smooth surfaces with no bumps or dips.  Installation then becomes a simple peel and stick. Mounted in factory to panel prior to shipping. You'll need to remove thin plastic covering prior to mounting in place.
  2. A structural silicone (Fix8) can be used to adhere the panel to a surface.
  3. The panel can be secured using bolts or screws through eyelets in the panel. You will get the correct amount for the size of the panel.
