Victron SmartSolar MPPT 150/35 Charge Controller

The VE.Direct to Bluetooth Dongle lets you display the information from your BMV or MPPT to your smart phone using the Victron Connect app.

Using your iPhone or iPad you can wireless view information on your power system, giving you the ability to check your battery status, solar panel power, and other information.

The VE.Direct Blutooth dongle is able to read data from the BMV700  and BMV702 battery monitors and Victron MPPT Solar Charge Controllers (excluding 150/70 and 150/85) using the VE.Direct communication port.

Victron Connect app

The Victron Connect app connects to a Victron VE.Direct Bluetooth LE dongle and gets live status information from a Victron BMV700 or Victron MPPT.

Victron Smart Battery Sense Long Range (up to 10m)

Smart Battery Sense is a wireless battery voltage and temperature sensor for Victron MPPT Solar Chargers.

With voltage and temperature sense in place, batteries will be better charged; improving charging-efficiency and prolonging battery life.

Victron VE.Direct TX Digital Output Cable

The VE.Direct TX digital output cable can be used in combination with the BlueSolar and SmartSolar MPPT chargers. It supports the following applications:

• Solar lighting applications
• Virtual load output

The cable is designed for lighting applications in solar energy systems.

Energy consumption can be significantly reduced by the ability to dim lighting when needed. Lower power consumption will reduce the overall system cost. Also, the availability of the lighting will increase, even in case of a partially charged battery in low sun.
The cable connects the TX output of the VE. Direct connector of an MPPT charger with the PWM dimmer input of the LED driver.

 

Virtual load output:

The cable is designed for adding load output functionality to the larger MPPT chargers (MPPT 100/30 and larger) that do not have a load output. The cable connects the TX output of the VE. Direct connector of an MPPT charger with a battery protect or a solid-state relay to switch a load on or off. 

 

Victron VE.Direct Non-Inverting Remote On-Off Cable

Use this cable to remotely control BlueSolar and SmartSolar MPPT charge controller models.

Note that it's not necessary to use this cable on the larger SmartSolar models, as they feature an onboard Remote On/Off terminal.

The charger will be enabled when the signal on the cable is high. The charger is disabled when the source signal is pulled low or left free-floating.

Note that when using this cable, it's not possible to use the VE. Direct port for any other purpose. Such as connecting to a GX device, or for example a VE.Direct Bluetooth Smart dongle on a BlueSolar charger.

Victron MPPT WireBox - M (100-30/50 & 150/35)

The MPPT WireBox provides an extra level of safety, and is particularly useful if your MPPT Solar Charger is installed in a general access area. It covers all DC terminals, preventing accidental or inquisitive contact with terminal screws.
